Recipe: Cannabis Macaroni and Cheese 2018-01-27T03:21:26+00:00

Ingredients:

¼ cup cannabis butter,
1 leek, trimmed and thinly sliced
¼ cup cannabis flour
2 cups milk
½ cannabis milk
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. mustard
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
8 oz. elbow macaroni or small pasta, cooked and drained
Finely chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

1.  Preheat oven to 375°.
2.  Melt 1 tablespoon cannabis butter in medium skillet over medium heat and lightly sweat leeks, about 3 minutes.
3.  Melt remaining 3 tablespoons of cannabis butter in medium saucepan over medium heat, then stir in cannabis flour.
4.  Cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute.
5.  Slowly stir in whole milk and cannabis milk until mixture is thickened.
6.  Stir in cheese, mustard and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
7.  Stir in leeks and hot macaroni.
8.  Pour mixture into 1½-quart baking dish and bake 20 minutes or until bubbling and golden.
